                                 BLACK PANTHER

Millenials are a generation focused a lot on technology. The movie industry has increased over the years in different aspects including the use of visual effects, and also the perception of genre. (cinemablend ) Yet, there was still some work with race, especially in the superhero industry. The 21st-century is the area of political reforms. Different communities are fighting for equality in different aspects including representation in movies. It looks like the superhero industry was still behind with representations of different race in their superhero.
Children are the main target of superhero movies most of the time. They look at these superheroes and want to be like them. Superheroes are models for them, whether they were a cap or not. When it comes to children of color especially black children, they often don't see a superhero that physically looks like them.

In February 2018, comes BLACK PANTHER which is a movie based on an African superhero.  The movie comes and breaks record including a $192 three day domestic growth (black-panther-breaks-records ) Black Panther does not only break records but changes the perception of race in the movie industry. People of color all over the world are excited to see a person that looks like them playing an important role.
